Pregnancy tests are available for confirmation of pregnancy. Prenatal care is not offered at the SHS. Once pregnancy is diagnosed, the student is counseled, and a referral to an OB-GYN is made. Other resources for assistance in the Richmond area include the following:

Students with concerns regarding AIDS should see a physician at the SHS for consultation. All information is kept strictly confidential. Students desiring AIDS testing may do so at the Madison County Health Department 623-7312.

Information on HIV/AIDS, including its signs and symptoms, ways of contracting it, and methods of avoiding it, are available at the SHS front lobby.
